OptiDoc2 Versions & Issues

Version 2.0.6.6 - December 8, 2008

Made changes in the schema and did a rebuild to handle windows integrated authentication in a more strict fashion. This same change will apply to all desktop applications.

Version 2.0.6.5 - November 4, 2008

Modified the times when active field properties are applied. The command+P still invokes the active field preprocess function, and is necessary to load up the first document. A submit operation performs a postprocess function on the current document, does the submit, loads the next document into the queue, and then does a preprocess on the new document. This functionality is in addition to the preprocess document, and preprocess project functions. The submit document and submit project functions do not run the preprocessor a second time. This feature change is the result of a bug report where a repeating field was not carried forward.

Version 2.0.6.4 - October 28, 2008

Updated the license screen to have an option to read the server licensing information from a text file. There are now three ways to get the server licensing information back into the desktop application. The first way is to simply paste the information into the edit field. The second way is to use the web to post the licensing information back from a central server at ATS. The thrid way is to open a text file that contains the server licensing information.

Version 2.0.6.3 - October 24, 2008

Updated all schema accessors to OptiDocGetColl to demand load collections. This is to improve the apparent speed for administrative users who have access to 100's of simultaneous collections. This was done in the desktop client to reflect the requested changes in the web server.

Version 2.0.6.2 - October 24, 2008

Modified Schema to recognize database type, year, and edition. There are only two types of server dependent run time code options now. These are MSSQL and ORACLE.

Version 2.0.6.1 - September 22, 2008

Added the tabulate marked documents function. This function counts total documents, total pages, total characters per field, and empty fields and provides the user with a text report.

Version 2.0.6.0 - September 3, 2008

Tab key did not work in active field restricted mode

In active fields, when restricting choice list values the tab key did not work. The tab key now works if the choices in the list are restricted to the set selection of values, and still works if the list can be set to different values. If dynamic fetch is turned on, then the updates in the choice list active field panel were not getting written back into the database. The ability to add a blank choice in restricted mode has been added. Please note that all changes made to the active field choice list table when dyanmic fetch is turned on, are also made to the lookup table in the database.

Version 2.0.5.9 - July 21, 2008

Added the concept of document identitiy. This prepares us for implementing true document recognition.

Version 2.0.5.8 - June 5, 2008

Version 2.0.5.7 - May 1, 2008

Application now automatically determines the database owner. Deleting cross references crash error is fixed. Extracting data from encrypted collections is fixed. OCR engine is a built in feature now. All future releases have built in zone OCR and full text OCR.

NOTE Extracting cross references does not function in an obvious manner. Since cross references use the same GUID, and the extract process overwrites, only the last cross reference and its meta data are left in the extraction folder.

Version 2.0.5.6 - Jan 24, 2008

Updated to version 8 of ISYS, fixed default directory problems that version 8 introduced, added document security to Logical and English full text searches. Linked help from full text searches into Wiki. Fixed full text search updating.

NOTE Full Text Searching does not function with cross references. When recalling from a full text collection, only the main document, and the main document fields can come back.
